Been out of the loop lately, particularly this week ‘coz I’m too tired to go online when I get home.
In my previous post I talked about the IMMAP-Ateneo Digital Marketer Program course that my boss recently enrolled me in. Yes, it was fun. I don’t want to spoil-things-count-the-eggs-before- they-hatch cliche (because I tend to jinx things like that) but I received an e-mail yesterday that made me really really happy.
This was our mock-up homepage and I’m very, very proud of it :)
Anyway, what I really wanted to talk about here is this post I came across yesterday.
It’s been months since I read the last book of the Hunger Games Trilogy, and I’m just waiting for news about its movie version. I’m really excited for it! The book was so visual, so I’m hoping for bonggang graphics and action. I haven’t really known anyone in my circle who’ve read the Hunger Games and liked it as much as I did (save for my two kumares who I sent the ebooks to) so when I tumbled upon this from Saab Magalona (who’s a Hunger Games fan as well), I wanted to join immediately.
You fill up an application form and choose which kind of membership you think will fit you best. I chose “Tribute” ‘cause I’d want to help the org to get more people in. Yesterday night, I got the confirmation that I’m officially a tribute and this banner came along with it:
How cool is that, right? It’s got my name on it!! If you want to be part of the organization as well, just go to Hunger Games Philippines’ site and fill up the application form :) It’s a great way to show how much you love the series and to get more of your friends read it too!
