It’s not that I don’t want to blog; the thoughts just fizzle out of my mind before I get my hands on the keyboard.
Last Nov. 4 I turned six months at work. No celebration, I’m not even evaluated yet. (Someone must’ve forgotten. LOL)
We’re just a small office and we’re just few. By few, that means there’s just eight of us. Before we were just six. And up to now, I’m still the only girl. Well that’s not counting our boss. But most of the time I’m the one who goes with the boys everyday to lunch so that still makes me the only girl. But it’s fun… Puts me in a totally different end of the spectrum, so to speak. Makes you go “Ahhh, so that’s how YOU see it” which leads me to the realization why girls and boys will never really understand one thing from the same point of view haha!
Anyway tomorrow afternoon I’m Fort-bound for the last session of the IMMAP-Ateneo Digital Marketing Wiki class. It’s going to be at Chef Laudico’s Bistro Filipino. Hellllooooo presentation! It’s been AGES since our thesis defense! I worked on my Powerpoint presentation yesterday and felt so outdated! It’s not the Powerpoint I remember when I was working on our thesis :| Truth be told I’m nervous as hell because we’re not actually students, we’re all working already. Plus I think there will be a panel [they’re asking us to print two copies of the Marketing Brief we did] so double the nervousness! Wish me luck haha!
We passed by the venue yesterday [I have no plans on getting lost at The Fort on such an important day haha] and went to Megamall after. BAGS!!! Is it just me, or does Megamall’s Department Store have a better collection than the other Department Stores??? If I had enough monies I’d have bought all the bags I wanted to *sad* Payday why are you so faaaaaaar?
AND OH! On Friday I was at SM Centerpoint, wanting to hit National Bookstore but was sidetracked by a lovely pink glowing sign with something written on it I cannot see clearly (eyesight fail). When I got nearer it said Amanda’s Place and when my eyes landed on the front store display, IT WAS HEAVEN!! Accessories EVERYWHERE! There’s this thick bangle I have my eyes on and it comes in like, five colors! There’s this pretty pair of earrings and tops that range from P200-P700, which are just right if you ask me. So that’s where I’ll be on the 15th. Now I just have to figure out how do I manage to be in two places at the same time. LOL!
I should be reading up on others’ Marketing Briefs so I hafta go. Church and grocery day later!
