Is what Charice probably has to say to her haters. LOL.
Admittedly, I wasn’t one of those who squealed in delight when I first learned she would be in Glee. But the nearer the season premier came, the more I actually looked forward to seeing her sing. I’m still not a fan but I have to give it to her for Telephone and especially Listen… man she killed it! :) But I heard she won’t be back ‘til the end of this year. Too bad.
In other news, we played the dice game in the office around two weeks back. My boss is Chinese and her family runs the company our office belongs to. The mechanics is pretty simple: you roll six dice(s? What’s the plural of dice again?) and you must get at least one four face to win one small special hopia (I was expecting Moon Cake. Sad). The most I got was two four faces so I got one of the medium-sized ones. The tech from the studio upstairs brought all her luck with her - she won the biggest hopia! That’s her wearing green stripes!

But the day before was my birthday (YAY!) Not much happened though. I just went to BWorld, ate dinner there and hung out for a while then went home to spaghetti from Red Ribbon and the ice cream cake from Dairy Queen :) Yum!

I got a scented Mallos bag and coin purse from Papa and Mama :) I like it because it’s spacious enough to fit the usual stuff I bring around and some more. How spacious? Imagine a medium-sized box for the hopia fit right in! Plus it makes the commute bearable (especially afternoon rush hours) because of it’s scent! But it wears off after six months or when you use it often. Too bad you can’t have the scent re-sprayed or something :(

Then on Saturday, we met up again for dinner at Pizza Hut Bistro in Gateway. That must’ve been my shortest stay in Starbucks, and the fact that I drank three-fourths of the VENTI coffee jelly! So full!!

Then finally, Sportsfest!! Forever giving support to our Masscom babies. Went with Chi and Karen. Woohoo two-thirds of Ondoy Survivors represent! Being there at the awarding ceremonies never fails to bring back memories of that one year when we lost. It’s my favorite among the three years! I actually found my heart going thud-thud-thud before the runners-up were announced. God knows how much we alumni can relate and how much we are hurt too when we see our babies cry from frustration and disappointment. But we ALWAYS know we do your best, so chin up! :)

And oh! I got shaaaaaades from Chi! Thanks! The future (a.k.a. flash) is so bright I just gotta wear shades!!

Haha of COURSE they’re not real Wayfarers but whatevs they’re white and I love them! :)
So that’s how I spent my weekend.
I’m back to the drawing board. Seriously can I extend the alphabet beyond Z?? Like A.a, A.b, etc? Because I’m already on Plan C and I’m running out of options for this one! HAY!
I’m still getting mixed-up with this blog and the reblog one, but trust me that both are running! I might have less time for them though since Tumblr will be blocked (among many others, le sigh. Don’t get me started on THAT one) in the office starting Monday. But I at least hope I can maintain the reblog one ‘coz it’s easier to post stuff there.
Oh! Next week is the Britney episode on Glee and everybody’s favorite Cheerio Brittany will be covering two of the pop princess’ songs! So excited for this! I’ve downloaded Me Against The Music and Toxic already! :)
Huuuuuuh. I was attempting to insert a break after the Charice paragraph but the break ate my previous post so I just rewrote this whole thing again. Le sigh. Hope I don’t mess this one up anymore.
Happy weekend kids :)
