Home on a Saturday
And damn it feels weird.
In other news, my Wordpress is up and running too. I don’t know what to do with this one now though. Haha.
I’ll be going to Boracay next month. For free. Thank you for God-sent friends for the surprising decision to tag me along their flight and accommodation GCs. I’m excited beyond words. Been ages since I rode a plane; an early summer (so you better...
Stay happy with Happy Lemon
Thanks to Our Awesome Planet’s feature and one of my officemate’s curiosity, we found a new after-office haunt that fits right into our budget-conscious pockets.
Quoted from Our Awesome Planet:
The Starbucks of Bubble Teas from Hong Kong is now here in Manila!
If you’re looking for something new to try, Happy Lemon’s Lemon and Tea drinks are quite innovative. The...
Good night
I’m planning to sleep early for a change (READ: Before 11 p.m.) I got hooked on Cityville just two days ago, and I regret it. I wish I started on the first day of my week-long vacation! LOL.
Skipped our Sunday Church-grocery ritual because Mama’s tummy’s kind of bad. Boo. :( I was thinking of uploading some photos of New Year’s and some…blame it on Cityville! Now...

The end.
2010 is (was) not exactly my best year. It was a real roller coaster (though I think I say this every year). It tested me in a lot of ways, and many times I almost gave up and walked away.
But it’s true, God doesn’t give you problems you can’t solve, hurdles you can’t jump over. You just gotta hang in there because really, there’s no other way.
A big shout out to...
Major kick-ass (RPG Metanoia)
I haven’t been exactly a fan of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries. It’s like a flood of sequels with the same story lines, or some just don’t pique my interest at all. But a movie entry’s promotional Web site caught my attention a few months back, and I have to admit I had some (big) expectations from it. I watched it yesterday - and it didn’t disappoint.

Holidaze!
Hello! Merry Christmas! Flooding this post with photos to tell you what I’ve been up to :)
Watched the Nutcracker ballet last Tuesday at the Meralco Theater with Chi, her Kuya and his wife. Thank you! :)
It was my first time at the Toy Town! For some reason I missed last year’s, so while waiting for Chi, I went around (by myself, loser IKR!) and enjoyed the lights!
Then our...
MY CHRISTMAS WISH THIS YEAR: A NOKIA C7
You’d probably notice how I’ve blabbed about the workshops I took with IMMAP-Ateneo, and how I’ve utilized in my work the many resources I’ve picked up from them (I’ve recently discovered that creating wireframes at Balsamiq can be addicting). I’m loving how everything’s gone online and mobile now, and how the “six degrees of separation” just...
My (Self)Christmas gift
So there’s one payday left before Christmas and I just realized that when one of my officemates said that our company Christmas party is going to be on the 17th. Wow time flies fast.
Here’s the thing with me when shopping for presents: I usually get/look for mine before/during shopping for others’! Trust me, at the cashier there’s has to be at least one item in the cart...
Hunger Games Philippines
Been out of the loop lately, particularly this week ‘coz I’m too tired to go online when I get home.
In my previous post I talked about the IMMAP-Ateneo Digital Marketer Program course that my boss recently enrolled me in. Yes, it was fun. I don’t want to spoil-things-count-the-eggs-before- they-hatch cliche (because I tend to jinx things like that) but I received an e-mail...

Of seafood and truffles
The second course I took with IMMAP-Ateneo ended today. I must say, I enjoyed it more this time around (waves at Erika), owing to the fact that I was in put in a great group of girls :) It was one thing working with complete, total strangers with their own crazy schedules, but coming up with a Web site plan in six hours one Saturday afternoon AND winging it on the day of presentation is another!

Hold it. Wait.
I should be writing something about how the week has gone so far, but I came across this just now and there are some points I’d like to say.
Glee’s Girl Problems
It’s a pretty long read so I’ll only quote the statements I either agree or disagree on.
WARNING: If by some reason, the “Read More” link doesn’t work, I’m sorry. Skip this post in your...

Karofsky!
!!! SPOILER ALERT !!! Don’t say you weren’t warned!! For those who were a) not too busy at work this morning or b) were busy but just couldn’t resist watching a fresher episode of Glee via live stream like me, then you’ve seen the shocker that made me hold my breath for more than 10 seconds.
KAROFSKY. You…you…gaaaaah! I don’t know whether to hate...
Battle of the planners
Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, it’s that time of the year again when you (or we, it’s relative really) flood, shock, and overwhelm yourself with caffeine for the sake of that much-coveted Starbucks 2011 Planner.
The first one is metal-inspired, the red one’s cover is made of velvet, and the last one has a wooden finish. The pages inside are still pretty much...
2pm
It clearly said. But I got here at Bistro Filipino 1pm. Sharp. Ugh. I under(or over)estimated EDSA! From Greenhills to the Fort it took me only 30 minutes! So I whiled away my time surfing the Internet and… Surfing the Internet. Haha.
Ohai I have a seatmate now. And I think there’s another one coming. Oh joy. Haha. Forgive my rambling, I’m awfullllyyy bored. :)

It’s not that I don’t want to blog; the thoughts just fizzle out of my mind before I get my hands on the keyboard.
Last Nov. 4 I turned six months at work. No celebration, I’m not even evaluated yet. (Someone must’ve forgotten. LOL)
We’re just a small office and we’re just few. By few, that means there’s just eight of us. Before we were just six. And up...

School-mode
Basically, I can’t afford to leave work and take a Masters degree. Financially, I’m not yet there to support myself from what I earn. So the next best thing is - study on my own.
I said in my previous entry that the boss has enrolled me in IMMAP-Ateneo’s Digital Marketing Wiki, and I officially started on Thursday. So far it’s cool. The meet-your-classmates portion is...

That GQ thing
So it reached our evening news: the very controversial Glee GQ cover/photo shoot.
Ok. One, I really don’t consider it “Glee” because I think it was only used to further hype the cover. I mean, Lea, Cory, and Dianna aren’t exactly the WHOLE of Glee, they’re just part of it.
Two. True, I was half-scandalized myself when I...
Rainy Friday
The truth will ALWAYS set you free. It’s been a liberating week. Things may not be exactly rainbows for me, but I’m happy that for others it’s beginning to fall into place.
Liberating, and tough. You’d think I’ve gotten used to the floor-just-disappeared-under-my-feet feeling but trust me, it still gets the better of me. Truth hurts, but there’s no point in...
Steam
So these past few days have been rainy, but who am I to complain about the slight temperature drop? The commute home is slightly more bearable, I don’t sweat that much *over-share*
Lately I’ve been studying on my own. Like literally on my own. I download e-books like mad and read them and take notes (which I kind of miss, by the way). My boss enrolled me in this IMMAP-Ateneo Digital...
Ohai there
New theme! Just to roll out the one week thing I have with myself. It’s a countdown, really. Or count…out. Whichever.
I also changed the site name, in connection to that count-thing. Feels like MY wings have been violated [severely, at that] that I want to cut both of them out already.
But have I told you WHY those wings mattered more than anything?
Peyton Sawyer happened.

kebe asked: Hi Anna! This is KB from wecomeofage. Hi! So sorry I lost your submission. Tumblr's acting weird. Can you please resubmit? So it would appear as submission? Thanks!

It was so much easier when we were kids.
Everytime you’re asked by adults what you want to be when you grow up, without batting an eyelash you say “I want to be a doctor” or “I want to be a teacher” or “I want to be a newscaster”.
Then you go to school. You discover Science isn’t just about learning how to cure the sick; that numbers should be left...

BLANK
Literally.
When I got home, I turned up my Glee playlist full blast, trying to shake off what I could, when I felt my knees quivering. Like, if I were to mount on a pyramid, Sue Sylvester would be booming off her megaphone “Was that a quiver?”
But no. Kidding aside, I couldn’t hold myself steady. I’ve never felt this shaken before - literally.
The ride home was a blur....
Warning: this is a long ass post
Is what Charice probably has to say to her haters. LOL.
Admittedly, I wasn’t one of those who squealed in delight when I first learned she would be in Glee. But the nearer the season premier came, the more I actually looked forward to seeing her sing. I’m still not a fan but I have to give it to her for Telephone and especially Listen… man she killed it! :) But I heard she won’t be back ‘til...
Reblog blog?
I’ve been thinking of making this my permanent personal blog, therefore no more reblogs, which means I have to make another account for the reblogs AND reblog what I can. HMMMM sounds like a lot of work but I might be up to it this weekend.
I’m stuck with the sniffles. I hate it. I hate waking up middle of the night gasping for air because of a clogged nose. Add to that the fact that...

thatgirlchuicide:
I learned to read when I was 3, so school was never a big problem for me and my parents until I struggled with math in grade school. I’m also the firstborn, and my parents were both working, so I had to do my homework by myself, with no one to help me most of the time. And it all paid off - I was…
